Project Description
Pro bono project to create a community site for Boston area RISD alumni. Project conception, content development, site architecture, interface design, production, and site maintenance.
The content initially presented on the site is meant to be a starting place for alumni to add materials and resources. Every page has a "submit" button and alumni are strongly encouraged to add their own useful links, upcoming events, favorite Boston locations, or work to be featured.
The visual design alludes to the sketching process that is the basis for all creative processes and the core of the foundation that RISD imparts to its alumni. Likewise, the rich palette with its transparencies and overlapping layers of color represents the way that RISD's fine art and design disciplines overlap and interact with one another.
